Getting to Inclusion & Belonging Workshop Evaluation

  • Lake Burien Presbyterian Church 15003 14th Avenue Southwest Burien, WA, 98166 United States (map)

We'll delve into the ways that our socially constructed experiences become practices we perpetuate. The socialization of inequity is the process by which we internalize and normalize oppression, often without fully understanding its far-reaching impacts. We will explore the interconnecting systems of race, class, ability, gender, and other forms of oppression-that shape our experiences, interactions, and sense of belonging.

This workshop will have discussions, reflective exercises, and hands-on strategies will help participants to cultivate the skills to examine the personal and collective roles in upholding or challenging systems of intersectional inequity and learn actionable tools.
